Ripple is back at it again with the partnerships. A few months ago, it seemed like there was a new Ripple partnership or donation[1] every week. Then things slowed down. This week, the Ripple I know is back. This week, we’ve heard about the Ripple Madonna partnership. And it’s true.
Ripple Madonna Partnership: Another One!
On Monday, pop icon Madonna announced that she would be partnering with Ripple. The crypto startup also confirmed the news. But why did they partner? Well, Ripple will be raising funds for Raising Malawi, the non-profit organization Madonna founded alongside Michael Berg in 2006.

There are a few things to take away from the Ripple Madonna partnership.
1. Money’s Being Raised
The Ripple fundraiser is acting as a way to support Raising Malawi’s work at an orphanage called the Home of Hope orphanage.
On Facebook, a donations page says people have already raised more than $26K. The target is $60K. I don’t know about you, but if this keeps up, I can see Ripple and Raising Malawi hitting this goal. Maybe even surpassing it.
2. An Important Cause
Second, this Ripple fundraiser is for such an important cause. Malawi is one of the world’s poorest countries, and Ripple understands that.
In a statement, Ripple’s senior VP of business operations Eric van Miltenburg said they are “honored” to be part of the organization’s “amazing work with some of the world’s most underserved children.”
