This year’s Blockchain World Conference (BWC) will be closing with the first-ever, casino sanctioned, all crypto poker tournament, according to an announcement released today.
Taking place in Atlantic City, New Jersey, between the 11th-13th July, Blockchain World Conference is an event where blockchain and cryptocurrency experts can meet and discuss the most up-to-date and current information on the sector.
This year’s conference, however, will be concluding with something a little bit different.
On the 14th July, the world’s first 100-player crypto poker event will take place at 11:00 ET. Ticketed entirely by Blockparty[1], a blockchain-powered live event ticketing platform, it will also be used for participants to buy into games, bet, and cash out in cryptocurrency.

In order to take part in the poker tournament, players must be attendees of the BWC, in addition to paying a $250 buy-in in cryptocurrency on the Blockparty platform. According to the announcement, the winner will receive two VIP tickets to the next Blockchain World Conference, taking place in Hollywood, Florida, between the 3rd-5th December, as well as a three-night stay at the Diplomat, a prize amounting to $10,000. Blockparty are also offering prizes to any player that knocks out a pro, and a competition
